Necromunda Genestealer Cult Hybrids – WIP

Hey everybody! Long time since last post – been super busy with lots of new projects and talking with our local gaming group about Necromunda lately. Definitely some nostalgia going on as we wrapped up our last 40k campaign. I really loved Necromunda back in the day and had loads of fun with it. In our recent game day we had some players do a round of Necromunda, and I felt I wanted to get in on the fun too and so kitbashed some Necromunda gangers for the fun of it. I always wanted to do a Genestealer cult and…

Chaos Vindicator Madness!

Being somewhat of a completist with my Nurgle Chaos Space Marines army (as well as having several units of Plague Marines having their butts handed to them at the hands of IG Leman Russ Demolisher cannons), I felt compelled to get somd Chaos Vindicators assembled and ready for action for my Nurgles. I love Nurgling up vehicles and these guys were no exception, and in fact I had a blast thinking through these conversions while trying to stay fluffy with the rationale behind the conversions.

Nurgle Plaguereaper Super-Heavy tank – WIP

Hi all, as part of my January 2013 challenge, I decided it was time to finalize my Nurgle Plaguereaper super-heavy tank for 40k Apocalypse battles. I bought an assembled Baneblade tank on ebay for a song, and had it sitting around for some time, with the intent of “nurgling” it up at some point to be my plaguereaper tank. I’ve started the process with adding some green stuff, some tubing…

Slaanesh Noise Marines prototype

I’ve been wanting to make a Slaanesh Noise Marine squad for some time now, and as I’m working on several projects in the background getting ready for a family trip soon, I’ve decided to go through my bits box and find the parts to make these guys (that I bought quite some time ago) an start building a prototype Noise Marine (mostly out of competitor bits) to see what he’d look like. I think he turned out pretty cool, especially for all the random parts I used (many of them competitor bits). Check out the pics below – as always…

Nurgle Obliterators Finished!

Phew! A journed that started many months ago (pretty much a full year ago, to be exact!), I started on the road of making custom, Nurgle-themed obliterators. Back then, in 5th Edition, making “Nurgle” obliterators was purely fluffy (as you couldn’t put Chaos Marks on oblits in that codex). Now that in 6th you can (WOOT!), the finishing of this project is all the more sweet. Now, the painting of these 9 custom obliterators is completed, and I thought it was time to post the final results, with side-by-sides of finished model and painted version.
