On the Nurglification of Rhinos…

Ah, my much neglected Rhinos. How happy you are to sit in the box of half-finished Chaos Marines model projects, languishing there for your day in the sun. Too long have you set there, being complete in your utiltarian-ness, not seeing being put rightfully in your place of honor amongst the completed (not to mention painted!) models of Cranky’s Plague Marine Warband. To you sirs, I say your day has come!

Nurgle Sorcerer

Finished with my 5th squad of 10 Nurgle Plague Marines. This guy seems to be the stand-out of that painting batch – the ForgeWorld Nurgle Sorcerer. I believe his name is “Necrosius” out of the Siege of Vraks campaign books Imperial Armour 7 – The Siege of Vraks III). Any which way, he looks pretty hard core, and I’m really happy how the paint job came out. I himmed and hawed on this guy for a while, not wanting to paint him – not sure why, but pretty pleased with the results.

Nurgle Obliterator #9 – Project Completed!

Finished! Finally done constructing my 9 semi-scratch-built Nurgle obliterators. This guy is the 9th and final installment of a project I started many months ago in creating my own obliterators. This guy is a bit more “Nurgly” then the other oblits I made. Take a look, commentary welcome!

For a few more Plague Marines more…

Been (slowly) cranking out more and more plague marines to finish the process of getting some color into my 40k Nurgle Chaos Marines army. The going is slow and I have a long ways to go, but at this point I’ve finished up 20 more plague marines along with the 20 I have already finished. I have 60 total, so I’m 2/3 the way there. Then obliterators, Rhino’s, Land Raider, Daemon Princes, etc… you see the picture.

Nurgle Obliterator #8

Here is my 8th installment of my custom, kit-bashed nurgle-themed obliterators. I think this guy turned out very well. Pictures are a little grainy; not sure what happened, usually my camera on my BlackBerry (I know…) is usually better, these didn’t turn out so hot. Anyways, this guy is a little different than my others in that I’ve made him more Nurgly by adding guts and intestines coming out of his belly.
